Areas of Service on Sundays

Nursery

Every Sunday night, our babies up to age 2 meet in the main Red Oak office, where a beautiful play area is arranged with educational interactive toys. If you are interested in serving in our nursery, we love to add people to our baby holding team!

Children Ministries

Every Sunday night, the children of Red Oak pile into the upstairs room we affectionately call "The Treehouse." Their time is spent singing songs together, doing craft activities, and sitting under Bible teaching — all with the vision of laying a foundation for them to understand the Gospel of God's grace. We teach through major stories in the Bible, beginning in Genesis, and the kids are soaking up every minute of it. We invite you and your family to be a part of Red Oak Church, and The Treehouse is a great place to start! Our greatest desire is to connect families within the body of Christ, to serve together in training our children in Scripture, and to point to the character and nature of Christ at every turn.

Led by Brayden and Courtney Nones, students dig deeper into passages of Scripture with the freedom to ask questions, learn to study, and develop accountability with youth leaders and peers. Ladies Prayer Pods

Prayer Pods are small groups of ladies that meet for 2 or 3 weeks each month for an hour of guided, intentionally focused prayer. Each group has a leader and meets on the day and time and at the location agreed on by the group. The leaders meet monthly for ongoing encouragement and support. There are currently 3 active groups, but we would love to see more ladies participating.

Pinwheel & Firefly Tutoring

Pinwheel & Firefly Tutoring is a cooperation between Red Oak Church, and other local churches in the area as well as Andrews Elementary School. Church members sign up to serve the students twice a week. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the school year, parent-approved students walk to the Pinwheel Building to play, enjoy a snack, study, work on homework, and ultimately hear the Gospel. Tutors commit to tutoring one or two days a week for 10 weeks each semester. Childcare volunteers are needed for Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Childcare volunteers can bring their own kids to play with others.
